Jake Gyllenhaal participe aux sketches de l'émission Saturday Night Live (SNL) BGUK_2354211 - Los Angeles, CA - Jake Gyllenhaal gets peed on, stabbed by Chucky and picks up El Chapo while trucking in a series of sketches as he hosts Saturday Night Live. The hunky actor, who was hosting SNL for the first time in 15 years after first appearing on the show back in 2007, appeared in several sketches after kicking off his opening monologue by singing Celine Dion. In one skit he played a flower alongside Sarah Sherman, Cecily Strong and Chris Redd, who gets peed on by a dog who wanders into the garden. His flower also gets pollenated by Bowen Yang's bee. In another sketch he plays a HR manager who has to oversee a meeting between three women - Melissa Villasenor, Chloe Fineman, and Ego Nwodim &x2013; who have gossiped about a co-worker Janet and compare her to the Chucky doll. Janet actually turns out to be Chucky &x2013; and ends up stabbing Jake in the leg after he reprimands her. Jake then donned a hilarious handlebar moustache to play a singing trucker &x2013; who belts out tunes about peeing in cups on a long drive, ghost truckers and also picking up El Chapo (Villasenor) on a long drive. In a pre-recorded sketch Jake and SNL cast member Mikey Day spoofed HGTV's Property Brothers &x2013; only they are Gage and Rick, Dream Home Cousins. They are designing a dream house for a couple &x2013; but everything gets changed to accommodate the husband's mother, played by Kate McKinnon, and her 27 year-old cat and all it's medical equipment. Other sketches included Jake playing a very sick actor taking on the role of Doc Holliday, a game show contestant who has to explain why he likes sexy Instagram posts, a member of a quartet singing group who have reunited after several years and are celebrating mediocrity in their song and one half of a couple who go for counselling but their counsellor ends up in a fight with her girlfriend and Jake has to read out a series of texts including one that starts: &x201c;Girrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrl!&x201d; © BestImage, Backgrid UK/ Bestimage
