On April 9th 2019 film director Lars von Trier was presented with Karen Blixen's memorial award the Rungstedlund Award 2019 by Her Majesty Queen Margrethe. The award goes to an individual who has distinguished themselves in the arts and culture or other fields close to Karen Blixen.
