Titled Digger, is satirical movie described as “a comedy of catastrophic proportions.” The project unites Cruise , 64, and Oscar-winning The Revenant director Alejandro González Iñárritu for the first time, The second trailer, just released, shows Cruise in heavy prosthetic make-up playing an old man with a paunch and grey, thinning hair. Ditching his classic action-hero look, Cruise plays Digger Rockwell, ab eccentric billionaire oil baron with a thick Southern drawl, thinning white hair styled into a combover and a potbelly. Rockwell’s corporate drilling accidentally triggers a catastrophic, global ecological disaster involving a rapidly melting iceberg crisis that threatens to spark a nuclear war.
