Tom Holland est un acteur britannique connu pour avoir incarné Spider-Man dans la franchise Marvel.

Son enfance et ses débuts

Tom Holland, Thomas Stanley Holland de son vrai non, est né le 1er juin 1996 à Londres. Sa mère, Nikki, est photographe et son père Dominic est comédien et auteur. Tom Holland suit des cours dans des écoles privées et se passionne pour la danse ce qui lui vaudra d'être harcelé par certains camarades.

Après avoir suivi des cours à la BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, il se fait connaître en 2008 quand il obtient le rôle principal de la comédie musicale Billy Elliot à Londres. Il s'entraîne durant deux ans pour assurer les spectacles et joue dans la comédie musicale jusqu'en 2010.

Ses rôles au cinéma et Spider-Man

Par la suite, Tom Holland se fait ensuite remarquer au cinéma grâce à son premier rôle devant les caméras dans The Impossible en 2012.

Mais c'est en 2015 qu'il se fait plus largement connaître quand il obtient le rôle de Spider-Man/Peter Parker dans la franchose Marvel. Il fait ses premiers pas dans le costume dans Captain America : Civil War sorti en 2016 puis joue dans Spider-Man : Homecoming ainsi que dans Avengers : Infinity War, Avengers : Endgame ainsi que dans Spider-Man : Far From Home et Spider-Man : No Way Home.

En 2020, il est au casting du film Le Diable, tout le temps disponible sur Netflix et double en anglais l'un des personnages du film d'animation En avant. Cette même année débute le tournage du film Uncharted, adapté du jeu vidéo du même nom où il joue le héros Nathan Drake. Le film sort le 16 février 2022 en France.

Vie privée

Tom Holland est très discret sur sa vie privée. Après de nombreuses rumeurs de couple, il est photographié en plein baiser avec Zendaya en juillet 2021.

It's not easy to leave a whole studio audience completely speechless, but Sadie Sink managed to during her visit to the late night US chat show. Sink, who played Max in Stranger Things from 2017-2025, sat down with host Jimmy Fallon to talk about the series finale that dropped on New Years Eve. Fallon asked how she feels about the somewhat ambiguous ending, and some fans may find her answer shocking. "The big question at the end is: 'Is Eleven still alive?'" Fallon said, and a hush fell over the room. "I think she's dead, I don't know," Sink said, as the entire audience gasped. She looked shocked as she added: "Is that like a hot take or something?" But Fallon quickly agreed saying: "I think she is, too!” Sink then continued: "I think Mike's story is just one last story, and then they say goodbye to childhood, but that's just one final tale. I think it's a coping thing. I think it's stronger. That's my interpretation." Later in the show Sink and Fallon played a new game called Opinion Rings where they had to break open some onion rings and read out a statement on a piece of paper hidden inside the food and then give their opinions on the statements. This left the duo agreeing on some things – like Sadie’s Stranger Things character Max would be the best roommate out of all the characters while Mike would be the worst. Sink also said Pippin was the greatest Broadway musical soundtrack while Fallon chose Grease. They also disagreed on the best Taylor Swfit song to scream-sing while driving. Sink went for Dear John while Fallon picked Betty, with Sink telling him that Betty wasn’t angry enough to scream sing before conceding: “Well, that is your opinion!”
