BGUK_2745052 - Los Angeles, CA - Jason Statham est en quête de vengeance dans la première bande-annonce de The Beekeeper. L'acteur britannique Jason Statham reprend du service en tant qu'assassin impitoyable dans le prochain thriller The Beekeeper. Le film suit "la campagne de vengeance brutale d'un homme qui prend une dimension nationale après qu'il se soit révélé être un ancien agent d'une organisation puissante et clandestine connue sous le nom de Beekeepers", selon le synopsis du film. La bande-annonce montre Statham en pleine action dans le rôle de M. Clay, se frayant un chemin à coups de pied et de fusil à travers le territoire ennemi aux côtés de Josh Hutcherson, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Minnie Driver, Bobby Naderi, Phylicia Rashad et Jeremy Irons. La première scène de la bande-annonce est plutôt paisible : M. Clay vient de créer un jardin avec des ruches bourdonnantes pour sa voisine (Rashad), qui lui dit : "Cet endroit n'était que chiendent et mauvaises herbes et vous l'avez ramené à la vie". Le ton change lorsqu'il est révélé que le personnage de Hutcherson dirige une organisation frauduleuse qui a escroqué les économies de la voisine de M. Clay, qui s'est ensuite tragiquement suicidée. M. Clay s'approche d'un bâtiment d'entreprise gardé par deux hommes en costume armés, et demande : "Vous savez ce qu'ils font ici ? "Vous savez ce qu'ils font ici ? Escroquer les plus faibles de notre société." "Mon pote, je compte jusqu'à trois", dit l'un d'eux, ce à quoi le personnage de Statham répond : "Un, deux, trois. Je l'ai fait pour vous", avant de frapper les hommes sur le béton et de lancer la bande-annonce dans un monde de coups de feu, d'hélicoptères et de sauts périlleux sur fond de crime et de justice. Réalisé par David Ayer (Suicide Squad) et écrit par Kurt Wimmer (Expend4bles), The Beekeeper promet de faire monter la sauce dans la dernière aventure de Jason Statham, remplie de répliques du genre : "Je vais mettre le feu à cet endroit" et : "Vous avez bien raison, je suis un problème". L'Apiculteur sort en salles le 12 janvier 2024.

As the title suggests, the team of scientists will return to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean where the Megalodon was discovered in the original film. Picking up a few years after the timeline in The Meg, Statham’s character, Jonas Taylor, and his research team discover the thought-to-be extinct Kronosaurus, an alligator-adjacent creature that lived during the Early Cretaceous period over 100 million years ago. Meg 2 will star Statham, Cliff Curtis, Wu Jing , Sienna Guillory, Skyler Samuels, Page Kennedy, Shuya Sophia Cai and Sergio Peris-Mencheta. Li Bingbing, who led The Meg opposite Statham, will not be a part of the sequel. The Meg was based on Steve Alten’s techno-thriller 1997 novel Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror. The original adaptation was written by Dean Georgaris, Erich Hoeber and Jon Hoeber, who have also written Meg 2.

Lionsgate has released a two-minute-long teaser, which also features Sylvester Stallone and Dolph Lundgren reprising their roles for the fourth installment. The official synopsis for the feature reads: “Armed with every weapon they can get their hands on and the skills to use them, The Expendables are the world’s last line of defense and the team that gets called when all other options are off the table. But new team members with new styles and tactics are going to give 'new blood' a whole new meaning.” The trailer begins with Megan and Jason's characters being introduced as a couple as the bombshell arrives home. Jason, who plays Lee Christmas, says: “Welcome home, honey,” as she walks in the door. The two engage in a playful scuffle over classified paperwork after Megan's character teases that her beau is not invited on her mission which ends up with them in bed and Megan playing with a knife. Then Barney, played by Stallone, shows up at their home to ask Lee for help with a 'situation’. Lee quips: “I need better friends,” before the scene switches to a dark warehouse where Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson is introduced. Multiple men convene in the sprawling space, dressed in black outfits and equipped with guns. The rapper warns them: “Remember this face. Don't shoot it by accident,” before they share a laugh. More insight into the mission is given as someone reveals that a group has 'taken possession of nuclear missiles and a cargo ship’ before the trailer explodes with gunfire, explosions, destruction, and passion as the ensemble puts up a fight to save the world. The film also stars Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, and Andy Garcia. The Expendables 4 will hit theaters on September 22, 2023.
