The 50 year-old actor stars in the trailer for Robert Rodriguez’s mind bending action thriller Hypnotic. In it he portrays a detective named Daniel Rourke who is on a frantic search to find his missing daughter Dominique (Hala Finley). However, as if he hunt already isn't enough, he quickly learns that her disappearance is associated with a series of ongoing robberies conducted by a mysterious man (William Fitchner) who happens to have hypnotic powers. Daniel's investigation leads him to spin out of control as he is forced to confront his deepest, darkest fears. As if that isn't already enough, he also finds out that the people with hypnotic powers can also force their victims to see and even feel things which are not real stacking the odds even more against him. However, Daniel is not alone as he gets the help of psychic Diana Cruz (Alice Braga) who aids him in trying to get his daughter back. The trailer ends with Fitchner's creepy character staring at Daniel while surrounded by several law enforcement member's guns pointed at him before the detective raises his gun right back at them. The movie also stars Jeff Fahey, Kelly Frye, JD Pardo, Bonnie Discepolo, Dayo Okeniyi, Derek Russo and Corina Calderon. Hypnotic will hit theaters on May 12, 2023.
