Daniel Radcliffe sur le plateau de l'émission "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" à New York, le 20 mars 2022. Daniel Radcliffe laughs off rumors he'll play X-Men's Wolverine and reveals how he landed Weird Al Yankovic biopic, as he appears on The Tonight Show. The Harry Potter star vehemently denied to host Jimmy Fallon that he will be reprising Hugh Jackman's role as the iconic mutant with retractable claws. He joked: “I think it's because Wolverine in the comics is fairly short, so I think people are going: ‘Who's a short actor? Him! He can maybe play him'.” He explained that the Wolverine rumors have been persistent for a while, with fans reading into his comments and drawing their own conclusions. Daniel said: “This is something that has like come up every so often for the last few years. Every time it comes up I'm like: ‘That's not true there's nothing behind that'. And everyone's like: ‘Oh, he said it might be true!' And I'm like: ‘No, I didn't. I said the opposite of that!' And then every so often I'll get bored answering the question in a sensible way, so I'll make a joke and every time I make a joke, I'm like: ‘Why did you do that?' So the other day, I was like: ‘Prove me wrong, Marvel'. And that has ignited a whole thing!” When Fallon agreed with fans and said that Radcliffe would make 'a fantastic Wolverine' the star replied: “Anything that implies the fleetingest similarity to Hugh Jackman is incredibly flattering so I'm happy with that.” Fallon then quipped: “I'm so happy you decided to announce on our show that you are playing Wolverine. This is great!” Daniel laughed and replied: “No! No, it's not.” The Brit actor also spoke about his upcoming biopic film, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, where he plays Weird Al Yankovic, saying: “I'm rarely excited to see the stuff that I'm in. I'm very, very excited to see that. I mean, you know, it's a fully insane movie, it's one of the most fun things I've ever done.” He also recalled the strange way he was cast for the film, after Yankovic saw him performing on The Graham Norton Show years ago. He revealed: “When I talked to Al for the first time, I was like: ‘I'm immensely flattered by the idea that you would pick me to play you but like, why me?' And apparently like, 13-14 years ago, I sang a version of a Tom Lehrer song on The Graham Norton show. I sang The Elements next to Colin Farrell and a very bemused Rihanna. I think she was just like: ‘Who is this kid and why is he singing The Elements?' I guess Al saw that and was like: ‘This guy maybe gets it'. And so picked me. So I'm very, very luck © BestImage, Backgrid UK/ Bestimage

Beloved Harry Potter actor Robbie Coltrane, widely known as Hagrid in the movies, passed away last Friday at the age of 72. Coltrane's agent and friend Belinda Wright confirmed the passing of the actor and called him “a unique talent.” Sharing an old photo from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Tom Felton who essayed the role of Draco Malfoy, recalled, “One of my fondest memories of filming Harry Potter was a night shoot on the first film in the forbidden forest. I was 12. Robbie cared & looked after everyone around of him. Effortlessly. And made them laugh. Effortlessly.” Pictured: Tom Felton
